Jag kan ju äta nästan vad som helst efter operationen men att äta kött eller korv tar längre tid. Man får åta långsamt och tugga ordentligt. Det går men det är lite ovant och för luncher på jobber så känns det ganska jobbigt. Så jag tar soppa till lunch och sen kan jag äta nåt mer “fast” till kvällsmat när man är hemma. Another book in the “grand tour” series is now done – And it was the Moonrise book.
This book in the series is the first book about the expanding solar system and the humans expansion.
The next book in the Gnad tour series of Ben bova is the very good book called “Mars”
This is a book about half-Navajo geologist Jamie Waterman that has been selected for the ground team of the first manned expedition to Mars.
Nu börjar det bane mej bli vår.
Solen ligger på balkongen och det är jätte varmt. Jag har funderat ett bra tag på att skaffa nåt bord till balkongen och på valrbordmässo afton tog jag mej i kragen och åkte till bauhaouse och skaffade ett litet balkongbord.
Det har vart en härlig helg med mycket vacker vädet.
Det hal startade med lördag och tömma Rogers pappas förråd och lägenhet i Knivstad.
I veckan så kom jag på att det faktiskt finns en App för Iphone (och android också) från handelsbanken. (more…)
I morses på väg till jobbet så kunde man definitivt känna att det närmar sig vår. I alla fall på marken. Städpatrullen hade vart framme soch sopar vägen så nu var alla sand och skit bort från vägkanten utanför oss.
After finishing the Poswersat book, the next one on the schedule was “Empire Builders”.
This is the second book about Dan Randolph even if it was writte well before Powersat.
The earth is heading towards a greenhouse cliff, a sudden climate change that will destroy much of the planet in ten years if something isn’t done soon. The ice caps will melt. Cities will be flooded. Millions will die. When Randolph tries to let people know what’s going on and try to help orchestrate a plan to avoid this catastrophe, government officials from the Global Economic Council (the GEC) confiscate his company, imprison him, and silence his scientific team.
The story continues and as usual it quite good and i find the book hard to put down, or stop listen to if you, like me listen to the audio book.
Stefan Rudnicki does an very excellent job adjusting his voice to each of the characters so you get a god idea of who speach. Speech tags become redundant. He captures a variety of accents well, and the voices match the personalities. He tries hard to get the Japanese right, but it doesn’t roll off his tongue well.
Its even a bit scary to think that this book was written back in 1993 and quite well talks about some of the problems we have been facing today. The tsunamis in Indonesia and the flooding of New Orleans.

Tiden går och kilona tappas fortfarande. När jag före operationen fick frågan, av dietisten, vad dom var ett mål med min vikt så var jag lite tyste en stund.
Jag hade inte tänkt så mycket på det, utan var mer fokuserad på vad som jag skulle göra just då och tänkte inte så lång fram i tiden.
